[Kayla La'Sure] - TPC's Local Food Review: The Social Goat

The Social Goat Tavern
1115 Church St Covington, GA
678-712-6321
Welcome, Welcome, it's restaurant review time for a new local tavern in town!

The Social Goat, located on the Covington Square, had their grand opening this past Thursday. I had a seat saved for me fortunately because the place was packed!

Accompanied by my good friend, Hannah Thomas, we socialized, had a drink or two & I received my food to go.

I ordered the Sesame Tacos, Lemon Pepper Wings & the Social Goat Burger & yes - I shared! Everything was absolutely delicious & was cooked to perfection.

It was so good, in fact, that I invited my date there for lunch the very next day. We enjoyed the Goat Cheese Bruschetta as the appetizer (a MUST try!), then split the Shrimp Po' Boy & the Fish & Chips. Once again, it was just perfect!

Looks Like a Great Menu!

Splendid would be the word for The Social Goat & I am currently giving them an A! Nothing but good reviews so far & I'm hoping they keep it up.

I was also lucky enough to get a sneak peek of the new bar upstairs which will be open soon to the public & I'm super excited to socialize!

Keep up the hard work & great service, Social Goat!

Until next time...
