[Kayla's Corner] - Restaurant Review: Tubby Tom's

A Kayla's Corner Restaurant Review
Tubby Tom's

Hey everyone! Welcome to this week's restaurant review. On today's plate we are reviewing Covington's own Tubby Tom's sports bar & grill! Tubby Tom's is located in Martin's plaza on the southside of 278 next to Serendipity. It was founded by Vic Orgo in 2014 and is now currently managed by Kati L. Harrison, Vice-president & CEO. Tubby's has been a growing sensation ever since it opened! Not many afternoons do I go in & not see the place packed. The bar is usually full & the tables become scarce.

Thoughtfully constructed, Tubby Tom's also is equipped with a decent-sized patio that I have often enjoyed spring and summer days on chatting it up with friends & family. There is no smoking inside & I must admit that makes for a healthier and cleaner environment. The bar itself is just gorgeous, from the granite countertops to the stacked stone backsplash, they have really done a great job on appearances.
A beautiful bar!

Now on to the food! I'll start with their most popular and most purchased item which w
ould be their Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. Loaded however you like,  I prefer it with sweet peppers, mushroom, and onion. They stuff it completely full  just as they do with their Philly cheese steak salads! Piled high and always a generous portion on everything. They have lots of other menu items such  as burgers, tenders & their very popular wings.

And don't forget their extensive selection of liquor and beer! Also they run weekly specials on food and drinks as well as weekly entertainment, including live music, Their newest addition is Thursday Night Music Bingo which seems to be making a big splash. Visit their Facebook page to stay up to date on what's happening when.

Make sure to make it out there and let us know what ya' think & be sure to tell 'em you read about it in The Chronicles!

Thanks for reading! See y'all next time.
